I love books. I love reading. But just because I haven’t read as many classics as I have YA means I am not a true lover of books? I am a teenager and therefore teenage fiction appeals to me. When I am older I will read more classics, but for now I am content with YA. People have said that I don’t care about ‘true’ books because I like books like The Hunger Games. English happens to be my favourite subject, I want to take it to A-Levels, do a degree in it and then teach it. But of course, I don’t care about books or literature.
